'Failure To Launch' films at Oxford Boatyard
The romantic comedy starring Matthew McConaughey and Sarah Jessica Parker, Failure To Launch, is now out on DVD. The film was partially shot right in OBY with many of the Oxford Boatyard crew working with the film's crew and also cast as extras in the film itself.

OBY Dockmaster, Jimmy Taylor featured in Star Democrat Newspaper
James Robert Taylor began working at the boatyard in 1931. Now the dockmaster at 94, he has nearly 50 more years of experience than the next most senior employee at the boatyard, and has observed over half of its 139-year history.
